📖 About the Book¶
Having taken the silver key, the evil wizard Maldred is after the gold key, which is protected by the Gold Dragon and her Dragon Master, Darma, but by the time Drake and Rori get there, Eko and her Thunder Dragon have seized the gold key--so together the three dragon masters, follow her through the portal to Maldred's tower, but without their dragons will they be able to stop Maldred and his deluded helper, or even save themselves?
🧠 Read Together¶
Reading together for just 15 minutes a day builds vocabulary, focus and a lifelong love of stories.
- Turn on captions (CC). Reading along with spoken words is one of the best ways to build fluency.
- Read the title out loud together and talk about what you expect.
- Pause the video and let your child read the next line before the narrator does.
- Point out sight words (the, and, said, was) each time they appear.
- Ask: “Who was the main character? What problem did they have? How was it solved?”
- Have your child read one page aloud to you — or to a pet or stuffed animal audience!
- Who was your favorite character in Dragon Masters, and why?
- What was the problem in the story? How did it get solved?
- If you could change the ending, what would happen instead?
- How do you think the main character felt at the end?
